Kokoro Arts supports and promotes the development and work of young artists, facilitates sector-wide discussion and champions inclusion, accessibility and diversity throughout the Wales dance sector.

As a company we work in four main directions:

  • Young and Early Career movement artist support

  • International Youth Work

  • Community Dance Work

  • Creative Work in Schools

We are a non-profit arts organisation supported by funders such as Arts Council Wales, Welsh Government, National Lottery Funding, Erasmus+, Taith Wales, LocalGiving as well as many local and international arts, youth and education organisations.

In previous years we have facilitated multiple Wales dance sector discussions; we have collaborated with National Dance Company Wales, Creu Cymru, Ballet Cymru, and Ground Work Pro to facilitate a sector wide 'Open Space' conversation. We strive to connect the dance sector in Wales, to re-build it more inclusive, diverse and welcoming.
