CLASS AIMS AND FOCUS:

To improve muscle strength (core, legs, arms)

To improve awareness of the body in space - confidence to travel, permission to take up as much space as possible through reaches, jumps, long steps and slides

To find and enjoy the flow between movements - the transitions between where one movement ends and the next one starts

To improve memory by training the brain to remember longer dance phrases, by following new exercises and details, by working out exercises in both directions

To improve coordination through exercises that purposely focus on body working in different directions

To boost self confidence by being physically active and overcoming challenges in class

To improve stamina through repetition and longer dance phrases/exercises

To socialise and build friendly judgement-free community
