Charlotte Perkins
Originally from Birmingham, Charlotte is a dance artist now based in Cardiff, after completing her BA(Hons) in Dance at the University of South Wales. During a gap year, she shared her choreographic work at emerging artist platforms such as Cardiff Dance Festival scratch night, and has recently completed a UK tour with postgraduate company mapdance.
Sara Hartel
Sara is a non-binary theatre maker with a love for physical theatre and aerial circus. They are passionate about working inclusively and regularly facilitate for Hijinx Theatre. With the Kokoro Arts digital commission they will explore how to use audio description as a tool to drive the action rather than simply describe it.
Krystal Dawn Campbell
Krystal is a black female dance/physical theatre artist working in the arts and entertainment industries as a performer, creator and collaborator. More recently, the work she creates draws from personal experiences and the stories of others to make powerful, impactful dance/physical theatre that challenges sociopolitical norms, inspires introspection, and stimulates long-lasting conversation.
CJ Ashen
CJ is a Welsh movement and dance artist recently graduated from Bath Spa University with a BA(Hons) in dance. He has worked with frantic assembly, volcano theatre company and Ka-pow dance circus these company have had profound effects on his practices.
He wants to develop a screen dance practice that uses CGI effects to enhance physical storytelling through camera work.
Anya Sirina
Anya Sirina is a performance artist with a research and movement practice based in Glasgow. Anya makes work that often explores the dichotomy of vulnerability and empowerment. Her work is conceptually and aesthetically driven and spans live art, dance and film.
